Thank you for your interest in becoming a ball person at 2010 Landings Club Savannah Challenger! There is no better way to be up close to where the action is! What We Require:
  • You must work a minimum of two (2) shifts. At least one (1) shift on Saturday, May 3, or Sunday, May 4. Monday, May 5 and Tuesday, May 6 are busy match days. Any help you can give on those days is appreciated. Each shift is approximately 4.5 hours long. No, you won't be on the court the entire time as we hope to have enough ball people to substitute every 40 minutes or so.
  • For Saturday's semifinals and Sunday's finals, the Ball Person Coordinator will select the top Ball Persons to work based on performance throughout the week.
  • For new BPs, we would like you to attend three training sessions at Franklin Creek, The Landings prior to the tournament. Veteran ball people must attend at least one training session. Training sessions' dates and times will be email to those who signed up as we get closer to the tournament.
  • Required duties include throwing, catching, rolling, score keeping, HAVING FUN!
